Describing himself as a “one man rock band without the instruments,” this young stud from West Virginia may walk and talk with unabashed arrogance, but he has the talent in the ring to back up his big mouth.
Following the conclusion of NXT season one, Heath Slater and the other members of The Nexus came to Raw looking to make an impact. Feeling held back on WWE NXT, “The One Man Rock Band” saw attacking Raw Superstars and WWE Legends as the perfect opportunity to make a name for himself and along with his associates, be granted a WWE contract. Slater’s raw ability and endless confidence made him an integral member of the intimidating faction.
